I was very saddened to hear of Brian’s passing. Although I did not know him well during our schooldays, I enjoyed our chats whilst rambling with the Columbans in recent years. He was an interesting, delightful gentleman, great company and conversationalist, and my heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to Jane and family at this time.
